AI-powered sample generator Just 4 Noise has closed a $1 million funding round, with contributions from BADideas.fund, Sound Hub Denmark, and others.

Backstory:

• The startup was founded by Max Shafer and Henning Nobmann in 2024.

• It builds generative AI instruments that create unique, royalty-free samples sourced from an ethically trained model, which integrate into DAWs.

• Producers can use text prompts to generate bespoke samples and instruments rather than spending hours scrolling through sample folders.

• Amongst its reported 4,000 users are producers Pan-Pot, Jamie XX, Alinka and Manon Dave, while partners include Native Instruments, Orchestral Tools and UJAM.
