The mission:
Chordal seeks to modernize sync licensing, making it faster, more transparent and more equitable for rights holders.
It also claims to be simplifying access to music for brands, entertainment companies and content creators by removing legal and logistical friction.
In addition to recent deals with Kobalt and TikTok, companies such as [PIAS], Reservoir Media, Primary Wave and Believe have partnered with Chordal.
In March it launched its patent-pending pre-clearance licensing system InstantClear™.
In July Chordal announced an API for InstantClear.
