Skrillex, born Sonny John Moore on January 15, 1988, is an American DJ, record producer, singer, and musician. He gained prominence for his work in electronic dance music, particularly dubstep and electro house. Skrillex initially began his career as the lead vocalist of the post-hardcore band From First to Last before embarking on a successful solo career as an electronic artist.
